I know this quilt is going to turn out amazing, as do all of your creations!Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08962678674987267712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8828752146646515017.post-79183959805635653782014-10-16T15:01:14.791-07:002014-10-16T15:01:14.791-07:00I am checking my blog comments now as a break from...I am checking my blog comments now as a break from my slow and steady FMQing of the quilt. They did not request nor did I offer to pay for any of my rental time. I may have lost my $10 deposit but that is OK. I did get one row done and I continue to learn a lot about longarms. Education is worth paying for. I also think they themselves were a bit frustrated having just had the machine returned to them from servicing. I did not want to rub salt in the wounds. Thanks for stopping by and offering "condolences". :•)DianeLoves2Quilthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12704655734477952685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8828752146646515017.post-27911009893032116162014-10-16T14:55:02.259-07:002014-10-16T14:55:02.259-07:00Thank you. I think having extra throat room and not having to invest the time involved in loading would be good. Do you have either of those and do you like it? Your Pfaff does a wonderful job.

I can certainly sympathize with "slow and steady" approach. I have a tendency to get frustrated and finish things while in the wrong mood. It never turns out well. Walking away is the best strategy.

Your experience with the rental machine sounds terribly frustrating - I hope you got at least a partial refund.Tamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16094928747500699123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8828752146646515017.post-83290881646872332852014-10-16T11:21:11.017-07:002014-10-16T11:21:11.017-07:00You have a good motto - and it sounds like you nee...You have a good motto - and it sounds like you need it! However, the quilting you did get done looks great and I can't see a difference in the change from one machine to the other, so congratulations!! Good choice on the quilting pattern, I really really like the little stars in the sashing blocks :)Aoifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08927427553227297000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8828752146646515017.post-6560913134993609722014-10-15T19:32:17.340-07:002014-10-15T19:32:17.340-07:00I think it looks good and your perseverance will p...I think it looks good and your perseverance will pay off! I have a sit down long arm and the fastest I go is about 36%. Plenty fast enough for me. I'm sorry you had a rough time after renting time on a machine that wasn't 100%. I look forward to seeing your finished quilt! :)Beth @ Cooking Up Quiltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08786023962755107152noreply@blogger.com
