The rungs are dowels ~ 3/8 " diameter, too thin for quilts with batting but perfect for tops only awaiting batting and backing.DianeLoves2Quilthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12704655734477952685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8828752146646515017.post-1504735717137121362012-06-28T10:23:06.959-07:002012-06-28T10:23:06.959-07:00First off, AAHHH sewing room envy! Excuse me while I fan myself for a minute. The new hardwood floors are gorgeous and do well to open the room up, and your space looks so organized and inviting! Also, I really like your quilt ladder in the back - any idea where you got that/if it's a specialty quilting item or something else re-purposed? I seem to have outgrown my little quilt rack (which needs to leave the baby's room anyway) and so I am extra admiring that as a tasteful and efficient way to display quilts.

Also, baby socks! Those are incredibly cute, and since I have a sock fetish, I'm pretty sure my baby cannot possibly have too many adorable socks in bright colors and crazy patterns - I was thinking that was something I was going to request for the shower, actually, since she is going to be born in the winter and as my kid, she cannot possibly have too many crazy socks. The afghan colors are pretty too - they'll go well in the baby's room.

Glad you had fun with Aunt M! That pillow sounds pretty neat, so I hope it works as advertised. But if not, at least it's got a rockin' cover. I am slightly afraid of what all you bought at Babies R Us, but I'm glad you're getting into this whole grandma thing.RobinLovesQuiltinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10916564818055052041noreply@blogger.com
